Edit: This has nothing to do with Money in the Bank but it's not big enough to make another blog entry about. Chris Jericho has officially returned to the WWE and looks to be entering a program with the Wyatt Family. Also, AJ Lee returned and took back the Divas Championship from Paige.
Hey wrestling fans, Undertaker here once again, bringing you the results of the latest WWE PPV. First off, I wanna start off with a couple personal notes. First note, I wanna apologize about not posting the results of Payback. It didn't even hit me that I forgot to do it until a few days afterwards. Even then I just kept getting busy every time I tried to post them, so I just said forget it. Second note, I was actually there live in Boston for Money in the Bank last night, just like for Survivor Series last year. That's why I'm posting this today, rather than last night. You can pretty much just assume at this point that whenever a PPV is in Boston, I'm gonna be there.
Now onto the results:
Usos def. The Wyatt Family to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships.
Paige def. Naomi to retain the Divas Championship
Adam Rose def. Damien Sandow (Sandow was dressed as Paul Revere. Personal note, I used this match as an opportunity to hit the merchandise stand and charge my phone in a phone charging station a bit. That's how much importance I put on it lol)
Seth Rollins def. Dean Ambrose, Kofi Kingston, RVD, Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler to win the Money in the Bank Ladder match (Side note, Seth won due to interference by Kane)
Stardust and Goldust (who I shall refer to as the Dust Brothers from now on, just for fun) def. Rybaxel
Rusev def. Big E
Layla def. Summer Rae with Fandango as guest referee
John Cena def. Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Cesaro, Kane, Bray Wyatt and Alberto Del Rio to become the new WWE WHC
Time for my thoughts. Overall, id say this was a decent PPV. But it suffered due to a few major problems. The biggest one being predictability. The only matches that weren't too predictable were the Tag Team Championship match and the Money in the Bank match. I had the Wyatts pegged to win the tag team titles and Ambrose to win the MITB match. The second problem was filler. We had 2 matches that did nothing, with 3 that weren't announced before hand. That really hurt it in my opinion. In any case, I had fun and was screaming my head off. What did you think? Let me know in the comments down below
